Thank you for all of your support through these past five years. In the mornings after sleepless nights during which my babies would wake up (and wake up my husband and me) for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to, hunger, poop, bad dream, spilled water, and questions about dinosaurs, you have been there to lift me out of my haze and make the days bearable and functional. And on the days when I have five deadlines to meet by 3:00 for four different clients, you’ve generously given my brain a little focus at 5:00 in the morning.
It is thanks to you that I have the energy to chase my kids around the park, to participate enthusiastically in endless conversations with my son about Star Wars Legos and the many fabulous scenes of How to Train Your Dragon, and to play Barbie/”Cinderella running down the steps to get back to her carriage by midnight” with my daughter.
Coffee, without you and my husband (and these two cute little faces that make it all worthwhile), I’m not sure I would have made it through. Seriously. No, really. (We broke our glass coffee pot the other day and it was panic mode around here.)
So, thanks Dunkin’ Donuts original blend (and also Starbucks and my local Cariño Coffee, who give me espresso fuel when the homemade stuff just doesn’t sound as good). Cariños is the only place I know of whose medium latte automatically comes with three shots of espresso (vs. two). High five, Alina!
P.S. Another shout-out to Crest Whitestrips, who reverses the damage to my pearlies every 12 months. Thanks to you, my coffee addiction is almost unnoticeable.
